A monthly round-up of all the things I’ve been adoring…

Reading: Notes to Self by Emily Pine
Made up of a collection of personal essays this book is a poignant tale that touches on infertility, addiction, feminism, family and the body. It’s addictively easy to read so can be gobbled up quickly. And then, if you’re like me, you’ll go back and read it again.

Wearing: Maggie Marilyn Season 7
The hot pink ‘Don’t Overthink It Shirt’ has got me doing quite the opposite and reassessing my usual minimal colour palette in my wardrobe. This may be the brightest pop of pink to grace my hangers yet…

Using: Prologic Omega 3 Treatment Oil
I hadn’t heard of Prologic until About Face invited me to test it out at their Ponsonby clinic, and let me tell you, it was an awakening! Since then I’ve been using their number one selling product, the Omega 3 Treatment Oil, and I love how it aids dullness. The range is perfect for anyone who wants to go natural, but also wants a professional cosmeceutical product.  If you’re still not sure head to About Face to try it in their new Prologic Wellness Facial which combines expert massage techniques to stimulate blood circulation and help with lymphatic drainage.

Consuming: Dose & Co Collagen Creamer
I’ve been wanting to get into this protein powder for your inner/outer beauty game for a long time so Dose & Co’s new Collagen Creamer came at the perfect time. Made with coconut milk it sort of acts like a milk substitute and is supposed to support joints, hair, skin and nails. I think it’s ideally suited to coffee, but as a tea drinker I add two scoops of the vanilla variety to a cuppa and it seemed to be okay. I can’t tell if  it’s working yet (will do a review in a month’s time) but I can say this: it’s delicious.

Listening: The Daily
Naturally, I love myself a bit of The High Low (because we all need a bit of trivial mixed in with the important stuff, right?) But for a comprehensive current affairs show you can’t go past The Daily which usually focus on THE most important story of the day. I actually feel smarter, just by listening to it.
